Updated the list a bit (found some crazy MC51-Variants) What about the Volmer HK51-B? Is it already in the game? I think there is an existing model for it too in the files of the Firearms: Source mod if needed.

Hey all, It's been a while since I played, I am doing a clean install and downloading MercA as I type this, so if my complaint is outdated, feel free to call me an idiot. As a medic, one of the things I am frustrated on during every new release is the lack of first aid kit love. Its hard to balance gameplay and still toss in cool medic stuff, I got it. But, I have an idea. This deployment, I got a battle belt, an oversized nylon belt with MOLLE webbing, and a bunch of pouches. I turned it into a disguised aid bag (as us medics say, the bigger the bag the bigger the target), with everything I as a medic need to treat a seriously wounded casualty right on my hips. I figured it would be relatively simple to use this idea in the game. Maybe make a new model belt, with one giant pocket in the menu, and no option to add pouches. Resize the biggest first aid kit to fit inside said pocket. Perhaps there is a way to make the pocket only able to store the first aid kit, like the pistol slot on the holster. This resized first aid kit might also fit onto certain vests, which is also valid as I keep med supplies there too. This would give quick access to the biggest med kit in the game, simulating a medic reaching for advanced supplies from his belt/chest rig. It would also force you to give up your pistol/storage space on your second fastest access point. www.google.com.af/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=&url=http%3A%2F%2Fksantex.com%2Fproducts%2Fwarrior-elite-ops-enchanced-plb-mk-4-utility-combo%2F&psig=AFQjCNGpkBADWVMvx0Szhfq4S7QctwBz9w&ust=1476640488929732Here's a pic of what I am talking about.

Hmm i'm not sure but in HLA you can carry med bags on your shoulder, and there are also new med kits that occupy 2x2 slots and have 10 uses.
Changing the med kit to occupy more or less slots is actually easy, you just need to edit the medkit in INI\ITEMS\ITEMS file, and find the medbag there. The ".e5b" file controls the medkit image. You can change to another one which is smaller if you wish.
Alternatively, a better solution would be to edit the image itself. In BMP\ITEMS\, you can edit the e5b file with any text editor and reduce its scale, this will make it occupy less space in your inventory, so you can try to make it 2x3 to fit in the big waist packs. Don't know how to make it not accept pouches.
In HLA you can stash tools and melee weapons like shovels or knifes in your belt without occupying space (by right clicking the belt and selecting to stash it there), with some scripting it would be possible to adapt the med kits to also have this behaviour.

Hey everyone.
So I ran into quite a few issues with making a MA addon with the previously mentioned planned additions, but the good news is, Hardlife seems to be quite a bit easier when it comes to adding in new content and I'm in the process of streamlining my workflow to really get some of these suggestions moving.
The previously mentioned "Unconventional Warfare Addon" is most likely going to continue in parallel to the Give Everybody Guns addon for HLA.

Updated the list with the Steyr STM 556.
The German Federal Army seeks to replace the G36 in the next few years/ early next decade. AFAIK the Contestors in now are H&K with the HK416A5/ G38, the Sig-Sauer MCX and the Steyr STM 556.
Also as Interim the army gets more MG4s and G27P (Patroll-Version/ AR-Version of the G28/ 417) till then. I added that one too, in the list.
Edit: After more Research done, it's not quite the STM 556. The Entry from Steyr is a Joint-Venture with Rheinmetall (Maker of the MG3) based on a updated STM 556, called the RS556.
