Hello,
I'm attempting to export custom weapon models from Blender 2.78 into 7,62 HLA (newest steam version), but i've always gotten crashes. Replacing a preexisting weapon model, so i'm assuming that the other weapon-related files aren't causing the issue, but the model is. Logfile states that the model is using unsupported templates and that the model is corrupt. I'm assuming that the unsupported templates simply get ignored by the parser or do they need to be removed? I've tried exporting from Blender 2.78 using the X exporter by littleneo, using Blender 2.44 to export X and even tried running it through MS3d to convert it, but none of them worked in-game. Models i've tried were all single-mesh, UV unwrapped and fairly low poly (~200tris). The only time i didn't get a crash was when i tried replacing a headmodel with a custom one (this time exported into binary X instead of ASCII X since the vanilla ones are binary), but the model didn't appear at all.
Any tips on exporting models from Blender or what i might be messing up? Thanks!

Exporting weapons from blender isn't hard but it requires a few things to be done. Easier if you just add me in steam and i can show you.
