With the new higher calibres in the game, I got bored. and decided to shoot slaves/mercs in the chest with non-explosive anti-tank bullets.
With that being said, I decided to experiment with shooting mercs in the chest with a series of calibres with the most possible protection to see if they can still live. From a lousy .22, to the .303 British, to the .556 (or .223), 7.62 variants, all the way to the .50 BMG and anti-tank rifles. We will see how our good friends, Pops and Sniper, take these rounds to the chest! (not the face since there's no bullet-proof face masks.)
With THAT being stated, I will slowly compile a few screen shots of Kurt with certain weapons of certain calibres, shooting these weapons of certain calibres, and see the end results of Pops or Sniper taking the hits.
How this will work is by via the "shop" cheat and a lot of money in case the first two mercenaries die. If they do die, I will go to the radio and hire to other mercs to take the shots.
They will be equipped with level IV ceramic plates, M100, and M1000 titanium body armour and helmets. Until their armour breaks, they die, or the plates in their armour are shattered, I will judge whether it is best to use the weapon or not. Obviously about 70% of the time, they will survive. Buuut some weapons are an insured instant kill. If you tend to find the weapons I will use in these tests in weapon stores ingame, then it would be nice to pick up that boomstick and flatten those enemies of yours.

while i was testing i noticed that if the "no critical hits" setting is on, not even the PTRS-41 will instakill a friendly merc, might wanna turn that setting off so you have better results
this would be some interesting test of armor capabilities, sadly the enemies wont fly away with the AT bullets or have some crazy ragdoll effects like you get with the launchers
might as well try some interesting things with the american 180 (.22 LR) to see if it can topple armor with many bullets

I'm wanting to, hypothetically, find the best way to take out enemies from taking out rebels, to the government soldiers. So if you want to go guns blazing taking out Sosa, you'll have a better chance of surviving with titanium-clad equipment (or steel, if you want to use Bastion), with a VZ LMG. I did that once, but apparently the Dictator is packing heat too.
