The mod is released as standalone game, but requires the original game. The mod is free, but still you have to own the High Caliber. It is translated to english, but the translation is made by neither professionals nor native speakers, but with some help from english speaking community. We expect some feedback and help in improving the localization. The page in the store store.steampowered.com/app/306290, but High Caliber owner should get it in the library automatically.

The only thing I spotted was item-wise before a minor error and a CTD after entering the map (without doing the whole tutorial thing.) I basically checked the weapon, outfit, armour, et cetera-list-thing in the shop and there was only a few minor errors as well as lack of descriptions for most weapons, but that's probably a game-only problem and not a localization problem. There are some cyrillic letters in some weapons, very few though, and a few items. These can easily be fixed. I've encountered to misspellings or cyrillic letters in the intro or with interactions with NPCs and other characters. Though that's just me. This may be edited to suit my purposes. On top of that, I may do a full playthrough while taking notes. EDIT: 6:26 A.M. Currently there is a lot of bugs. Mainly crashes. This happens more frequently after every ten minutes. Need to find a fix.

i think on the shop the guns don't show descriptions because you need to use a manual on it maybe? at least this is what happened for me with the FN fals the soldiers were using at the beginning
so far the game is stable for me, i only had two weird crashes. after killing the patrol you must follow, it asked me if i wanted to make a stash after leaving items, if i wanted or not to, it crashed. after waiting some time on the map after the battle was over i was able to continue without crashing

Ok, I see there are some people who experience stash crashes, will pass that info to the team. Pip Boy, how much RAM do you have? Other CTDs are may be memory related, since HLA uses a lot of new functionality the engine becomes unstable even more it was in the original game, because we can't find and fix each memory leak.

deadhead i also had another issue i think it was a bug. after clearing out the village and talking to the elder, the enemy marauders spawn and come walking in my direction, even before i asked for the militia to come and to be able to distribute the weapons to them, is this intended?
as soon as a marauder spots me, dialogue begins and ends either with combat or me convincing them, if i start the battle all of the militia is still unarmed because i didn't have time to give weapons to them

deadhead,
The memory size is 4GB, which is quite impressive to run nearly any game. But with ones unstable such as 7.62, both HLA and vanilla High Calibre, it seems almost unrealistic to crash even if the game usually runs a hundred thousand MB of memory after ten or so minutes.
EDIT: 6:12 PM - 7:02 PM
I've also been experiencing a few runtime errors. I've also narrowed down the memory problems of Hard Life via launch commands "-heapsize 1048576" which may have worked. Still uncertain since my only error was a runtime error.

So, again, does this heapsize increase work? Something has changed? Runtime does not mean this is real code error, c++ uses a lot of memory pointers, so when pointer is correct but the actual memory location contains crap, it will crash SilverGirl, this is not the main forces, it's just their usual acquisition party The logic is correct. Follow the story further.

Congratulations on getting it out on Steam! I'm a longtime E5/7.62 fan and own several physical copies of 7.62, just no Steam key. Are there any plans to make english HLA available as a simple download for owners of the CD version?

Well, this will make us supporting several versions of the same game, which is unwelcome and can lead to issues, but there is a possibility to do it

Why several versions, I thought after patching they were all the same. Nevermind scene release already exists and this game seems to be quite popular still... If Apeiron ever make a Kickstarter it would work nicely I think.

Follow the story further. With some testing, I might increase the heapsize number above 1048576 (which is 2GB Memory Load) to 2097152 (4GB Memory Load) This may be a possibly hard-hitting test but it may work. Or at least increase more time into the game then the usual ten minutes. At least thirty or more at most. If not 2097152 (4GB) then I will need to increase the heapsize of memory to 4194304, which is a whopping 8GB of memory being put into the game. Pray with me for the tests. Edit: Okay. 8GB Memory works. Which is 4194304. If there was double that number, it would actually be playable for a half-an-hour. Maybe more than an hour. Also, file compression via right-clicking the folder and compressing it strangely enough works too for some reason. I just added that step in. Runtime errors still continue though. The first test with 8GB was a runtime error, I simply flipped off my computer with the middle finger and restarted the game. Ran for an awesome 30+ minutes. Results may vary.

Your game work time looks rediculous, never heard it crushes so often! It should freely work for a couple of hours without any memory manipulations. Something is going wrong.

The mision "death dealer" is bugged. After the encounter between the bandits and the agent, all the saves are corrupted (crashed on load).

it may be not the mission, it may happen when you play for too long, memory leaks corrupt your save game file
