I used 7Zip and had no problems. Tried to download it again, maybe the DL was broken?

Using 7-zip it sez "0 CRC failed in 'MercapocalypsePatch.azp'. File is broken." Did you download from mediafire or MEGA? Also try using winrar or even windows default unzip tool and see if it works. I can upload to somewhere else or in another format if you are still having trouble.

Hey Silver!
I (somehow) made a little bit of time to play a video game. Decided to go with 7.62+BSM+Mercapocalypse. This is a completely fresh Steam install, as my hard drive died on me 3 weeks ago.
So, I enabled BSM through the Steam/properties method. Then I removed the files that you requested, and then installed the base mod and the patch 4. I tried launching through Steam, and it said that the executable was missing.
I went to the game's directory, and tried starting it through the EB .exe. The game started, and for a fraction of a second, I saw the image of Merca.'s startup screen (a FAMAS rifle? It's up for such a short period it's hard to tell), and then it crashes to the desktop.
Any advice...?
Thanks for your hard work by the way!

Any advice...? Thanks for your hard work by the way! It seems the BSM's E6.exe file was removed by your anti virus or something. The E6.exe is a modified exe of the game allowing more items to be added, this is probably why the game is crashing. When i was using Norton and later Defender, both of them annoyingly removed the E6.exe, which i had to add the folder as an exclusion for the anti viruses so they would stop removing the file. I recommend you add the game folder as exception and then verify game integrity. After that reinstall Mercapocalypse and 1.4 update and see if it works.

I posted this in the general chat, don't mean to cross-post, but maybe this is a better venue for it since it seems to be a bug... I am playing 1.4 and love it, but I'm stuck at CGL7 with over 500 player and 700 squad kills; no matter how many kills I have, I never get the option to advance to the next level, so I'm stuck with a fairly-limited assortment of weapons and accessories. Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a way to fix it?

That is weird, but honestly i have no idea how the advance CGL by kills actually work. The easiest way to advance CGL is making either Government, BSM or Rebel quests, these advance it fairly quickly and there is plenty of battle for the mid to late quests. I suggest you pick a side and try doing the quests to see if your CGL goes up.
BSM quests can be done together with either Rebel or Government quests.
