I'm happy to hear that you're revising the dirt/wear/jam/overheat features of the weapons. If they're anything like under Mercpocalypse or the Blue Sun Mod, then I felt that they were too common occurrences. I can remember how quickly submachineguns overheated and malfunctioned, and it was too extreme. One should be able to get 3 magazines worth of rounds through without any issues. Keeping it as true to life would be a bonus. I redefined all values for these, but even then i set lower than IRL because from what i saw, guns are very reliable machines. For overheating tests i saw most can get like 300 shots before having any sort of problem, with more quality and well made weapons surpassing this a lot. For example, see this video of a direct impingement AR-15 meltdown: There are no jams in the video, from what i read the AR-15 unreliability is a myth so i set it as a reliable weapons, however there are other weapons which are more reliable than it. With new dirt values, you should receive 2% dirt when shooting a full 30 round mag with a military AR-15, and maybe 4% if you use bad ammo. It is too much compared to IRL, but i think it works well for the game, still requiring maintenance of the weapon. For overheat most weapons can now fire 100 to 170 shots before overheating, depending on their barrel sizes and other small factors. This number is halved if you use low quality or surplus ammo. Still very low compared to the video above, but i think its fine for the game since that is like 5 to 6 30 round magazines to shoot quickly. Machine guns durability is also much bigger now, allowing more surpressive fire tactics. I did this because i felt the game punishes full auto too much, now there is more freedom to utilize spraying to hit multiple targets without being afraid of always jamming or overheating your weapon. Wear stat was based on the manufacturing quality of the country producing the weapon, and dirt more based on the design of the weapon with a few changes here and there. For example an AKM has somewhat low wear stat (3200) since it is a weapon designed to be mass produced, but still has insane dirt resistance (750k), compared to the M16 which is of higher quality manufacture (wear of 4500), but less dirt and fouling resistance at (280k). Yes, the mod uses damage values similar to HLA.

Hi, first off I just love the huge amount things the mod adds its given me even more reason to keep playing after allready playing 200h. I have run into a strange problem, I get crashes very often in puerto viejo when trying to load my saves inside the town, all saves outside work but very often when I save inside the town, trying to load those saves crashes the game. If you want I can post logs.

I have run into a strange problem, I get crashes very often in puerto viejo when trying to load my saves inside the town, all saves outside work but very often when I save inside the town, trying to load those saves crashes the game. I tried verifying the game and it did load a few files again including the replaced exe but it didnt fix the problem. Well I'l just have to be carefull about where I save then, thank you very much for taking the time to respond and doing it so quickly too.

Update released. -Weapons have had their automatic fire accuracy changed. Depending on the caliber, size of weapon and such, with SMGs being much more controllable than higher powered rifles. This value is displayed on the description of the weapon. Battle rifles are worse than they originally were. -Degradation and overheating of the ammunition is displayed on its description. I am currently overhauling all ammo to be more varied in their degradations, but all calibers will at least have 1 ammunition that degrades at the standard rate. Overpressure rounds are more degradable but yield better performance. There are some other high quality ammo or underpressure ammo that will yield lower performance, but will degrade the weapon less.
